Manga Logic - Kid Buu = SSJ3 Goku except he has infinite stamina. Anime Logic - Kid Buu is the strongest. |

The way I see that line is that he saying Gohan could win without fusion, which was the reason Goku went back in the first place. So, saying he can even win alone is saying he can win by himself without fusing with Goku. That's how I interpret it in context anyway. |

Evil Boo < Piccolo-Boo as Piccolo and the Base Kids don't add too much power and SSJ3 Goku is scared to fight Evil Boo, so it's obvious Ultimate Gohan is superior. |

In the Viz Goku just asks "Really? So we have to beat you first?" He doesn't specifically say he can defeat Super Buu (Super Buu goes on to say he can't in the very next panel, both in Viz and that fanslation) Edit: Here's the line in the Japanese version: Goku: “…So we’ve got no choice but to defeat you and then search for an exit somewhere.” Boo: “No, you can’t defeat me. Not the way you guys are now…You’re gonna die, not me…” There's also this: Goku: “Wait! Even though Boo has returned to normal a whole lot, we’re still simply no match for his strength! If we go outside like this, we’ll definitely be done in…!” There you go, 100% undeniable proof that Super Buu > Goku Edited by Clearin, Feb 1 2012, 05:39 PM.

well this isnt exactly about goku but proving that goku and vegeta agree gohan is basically useless in a battle with kid buu. and goku was never equal to him. he was being toyed with. goku even knows he probably cant do much of anything to buu but will try anyway. so goku seemingly giving up on trying to beat super buu even though they have no choice (as vegeta points out), its distinctly out of character and doesnt make sense. because the next thing goku says is to use fusion dance. why on earth will they be "definitely done in" if they have fusion up their sleeves?

Seconded, but I'd change it so that: Manga Logic- Kid Buu<Super Buu Anime Logic- Kid Buu>Super Buu I'd prefer to go with the manga logic of Super Buu being stronger. |

even by manga logic, kid buu blows super buu out of the water considering what it took to beat him (not only gohans power but almost literally everyone elses plus the dragonballs). |

We can only assume that Kid Buu was at full power when fighting Goku. He was beaten by Genki Dama, so he wasn't that much more powerful. |
